The Photo ID Office in Kennedy Plaza is open to the public Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 8am-4pm (closed 12pm-1pm).

The Photo ID Office at RIPTA Headquarters (705 Elmwood Avenue, Providence) is permanently closed.

Photo ID Information Line: For assistance with online or mail-in applications, please call 401-784-9500 ext. 2012, Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm.

RIPTA Customer Service Kiosk (Newport Transportation Center): 8am -12pm and 1pm – 4pm (May 26 – December 31, 2024).

Pawtucket-Central Falls Transit Center Building is open 8am - 5pm daily.

The RIPTA Information Window is open weekdays 8am – 4pm (closed 12pm - 1pm).

On Monday, January 23, 2023, RIPTA’s Pawtucket Transit Center moved from Roosevelt Avenue to Pine Street and Goff Avenue. 

Routes 1, 71, 72, 73, 75, 76, 78, 80, and the R-Line serve the Pawtucket-Central Falls Transit Center where you can connect with MBTA Commuter Rail service to Boston and Providence. Route 78 and the R-Line will continue to serve Roosevelt Avenue.
