DESCRIPTION:Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 39-18-4 of Rhode Island General Laws\, the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) hereby gives notice of its intent to hold a public hearing on a proposed beach shuttle pilot program.  The beach shuttle will run on weekends and holidays\, June 19 through August 27\, 2021 in the Newport and Middletown area. \nA virtual public hearing will be held on Thursday\, April 29 from 7:00pm to 8:00pm to collect public comments.
