RIPTA TO DETOUR ROUTE 42 (HOPE STREET) TO ACCOMMODATE HOPE STREET MERCHANTS WINTER STROLL ON THURSDAY, DECEMBER 6, 2012

The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will detour Route 42 (Hope Street) to accommodate the Hope Street Winter Stroll. The detour will be in effect beginning at 3:00pm on Thursday, December 6th until 9:00pm that night. 

The following route detour will be in effect on December 6, 2012:

Route #42 (Hope Street):                                                                                                       

Outbound trips will travel the regular route to the intersection of Hope Street and Rochambeau Avenue, right onto Rochambeau Avenue, left onto Elmgrove Avenue, right onto Blackstone Boulevard, left u-turn to Blackstone Boulevard, right onto Hope Street, and then resume regular route.

Inbound tripswill travel the regular route to Hope Street and Blackstone Boulevard, left onto Blackstone Boulevard, right onto Elmgrove Avenue, right onto Rochambeau Avenue, left onto Hope Street, and then resume regular route.
