  July 4, 2025 - RIPTA to Detour Route 60 (Providence/Newport) to Accommodate Bristol Fourth of July Parade Providence, Rhode Island… The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will run a Sunday/Holiday service schedule on Friday, July 4, 2025, in observance of the Fourth of July. The Sunday/Holiday schedule will apply to all regular fixed-route service.
