Route 1 is on detour until further notice due to construction on Brooks St. Route 1 will not serve bus stops on Brooks St. Please board at the temporary bus stops on Hope Street.

The following detours will remain in place through October 2024:

Route 1

Inbound trips will travel regular route to Thayer Street, left onto Waterman Street, left onto Brook Street, left onto Angell Street, continue on Angell Street through to Steeple Street and then resume regular route. Passengers will utilize the bus stop on Thayer Street before Meeting Street. There will be no stops between Thayer and Meeting Streets and Kennedy Plaza.

Outbound trips will travel regular route to North Main Street via Washington Place, continue up the hill on Waterman Street, turn left onto Brook Street and then resume regular route. At the bottom of the hill, passengers will board at a temporary stop on the pedestrian island on Washington Place. At the top of the hill, passengers will utilize the bus stop on Brook Street after Angell Street.

The following detours will remain in place through October 2024:

Routes 32, 33, 34, 40 and 61x

Inbound trips will travel regular route to the intersection of Angell and Thayer Streets, continue onto Angell Street through to Steeple Street and then resume regular route. Passengers will utilize the bus stop on Angell Street at Hope Street. There will be no stops between Angell and Hope Streets and Kennedy Plaza.

Outbound trips will travel regular route to North Main Street via Washington Place, continue up the hill on Waterman Street and then resume regular route. At the bottom of the hill, passengers will board at a temporary stop on the traffic island on Washington Place. At the top of the hill, passengers will utilize the bus stop on Waterman Street at Hope Street.

Monster Dash 5K: Sunday, October 27

Routes 35, 60 and 78 will be on detour from 8:30am to 11:30am.

Routes 35 and 78

Inbound trips will travel regular route to I-195 West, continue onto I-95 North, turn right at the Downtown Exit, right onto Francis St., left onto Washington St. and then continue to Bus Stop H.

Outbound trips will leave Bus Stop H, turn left onto Exchange St., left onto Memorial Blvd., continue onto I-95 South to I-195 East and then resume regular route.

Route 60

Inbound trips will travel regular route to I-195 West, continue to I-95 North, tun right at the Downtown Exit, turn right onto Francis St., left onto Exchange Terrace and then continue to Bus Stop Y. Outbound trips will leave Bus Stop Y, via a left onto Exchange St., left onto Memorial Blvd., continue onto I-95 South to I- 195 East and then resume regular route.

Inbound trips will travel regular route to Taunton Ave., turn right on Valley t o Waterfront Drive, right on Henderson Bridge to Angell Street, left on Gano Street, and then right onto I-195 West to regular route. Outbound trips will travel regular route.

Route 56 is on detour from now until November 1, 2024 due to construction. Route 56 cannot serve the VA Hospital entrance. Buses will pick up on Chalkstone Ave.

Route 58 is on detour until further notice due to the West River Street Bridge Replacement Project.
Inbound trips will travel regular route to Branch Ave., turn right onto North Main St., right onto Barbara Leonard Way, right onto Corliss St. through to W. River St., left onto Charles St. and then resume regular route.
Outbound trips will travel regular route to Charles St., turn right onto West River St., continue onto Corliss St., turn left onto Barbara Leonard Way, left onto North Main St., left onto Branch Ave. and then resume regular route.
