Routes R-Line, 1, 3, 4, 6, 10x, 13, 18, 20, 21, 22, 27, 28, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 40, 51, 54, 56, 57 58, 64, 66, 68, 72, 78, 80, 87, and 92 are currently on detour. Riders may expect some delays on all routes due to weather conditions and are advised to use extreme caution at bus stops due to decreased visibility and slippery conditions.

The safety of our employees and passengers is RIPTA’s top priority. 

The following routes are on detour:

Kennedy Plaza Stops V and W are temporarily closed due to snow on East Approach. Route 28, 56 and 57 passengers should board at Bus Stop F in Kennedy Plaza (next to Bus Stop G).

Routes 51, 54, 58, 72 and the R-Line will not service the train station. Inbound trips will use Canal St. to Steeple St. 

All service suspended to Dorrance St. on Routes R-Line 3, 4, 6, 20, 22, 51, 54, 58, and 72. Routes 3, 4, 51, 54, 58, and 72 Inbound trips will travel regular route to Fulton St., right onto Dorrance St., right onto Washington St., right onto Memorial Blvd., continue to Dyer St. and then resume regular route. Outbound trips from RI Hospital will travel regular route to Dyer St. through to Memorial Blvd., turn left on Steeple St., continue to Exchange Terrace, left on Dorrance St., left on Washington St. and then resume regular route. 

Routes R-Line, 6, 20 and 22 will not serve Lower Weybosset, or Empire Street. Inbound trips will turn left on Dave Gavitt Way and then right on Washington St. Outbound trips will travel regular route to Service Road, left onto Service Road and resume regular route.

All service suspended to Thayer St., Waterman St. Angell St., Brooks St., and Elmgrove Ave. on Routes 1, 35, 40 and 78. 

Route 6 (Prairie/Roger Williams Park Zoo):

Service suspended.

Route 10x (Amazon/Foster/Scituate):

Route 10x will not serve Foster Center Rd. Trips will start at Chopmist Hill. 

Route 13 

Service to East Main Ave. and Providence St. up to Tollgate Rd. suspended. 

Route 18 (Union Avenue):

Service suspended.

Route 21 (Reservoir/Garden City):

Service to Pontiac Ave. suspended. Trips will stay on Reservoir Ave. and make a left onto Rte. 10.

Route 27 

Service suspended.

Route 31 (Cranston St):

Service suspended.

Route 32 (East Providence/Wampanoag):

Inbound trips will travel regular route to Warren Ave., turn right onto S. Broadway, left onto I-195. Outbound trips will turn right onto Memorial Blvd., left onto South Water St., continue onto I-195, take the Taunton Ave. Exit. 

Service to Tripps Lane suspended. 

Route 33

Outbound trips will travel regular route to Washington St. and Memorial Blvd., right on Memorial Blvd., left on South Water St. to I-195, right on Taunton Ave. and then resume regular route. Inbound trips will travel regular route to Taunton Ave. and John St., turn left on Taunton Ave., right on Broadway, right onto I-195 West to the South Main Street Exit and then resume regular route.

Route 34 (East Providence/Seekonk Square):

Inbound trips will travel regular route to Warren Ave., turn right onto S. Broadway, left onto I-195. Outbound trips will turn right onto Memorial Blvd., left onto South Water St., continue onto I-195, take the Taunton Ave. Exit. 

Service to Evergreen Apartments suspended. 

Route 40 (Butler/Elmgrove):

No service to Elmgrove. Outbound trips will travel regular route to Washington and North Main Streets, turn left on North Main, right on Olney, left on Hope, right on Blackstone to Butler and then resume regular route. Reverse on Inbound. 

Route 63

All trips will remain on Farewell Street.

Route 64 (Newport/URI Kingston):

All trips will remain on Farewell Street.

Service to CCRI suspended. Outbound trips will travel regular route to Girard Avenue, right onto Maple Avenue, left onto Connell Highway and then resume regular route.

Route 66 (URI/Galilee):

Park & Ride service suspended.

Route 68

All trips will remain on Farewell Street. No service to 2^nd and 3^rd Streets. 

Route 72 (Weeden/Central Falls)

Inbound trips will travel regular route to Felix Mirando Way, turn left on Felix Mirando Way, right on Royal Little Dr., left on Silver Spring St. and then resume regular route. Outbound trips will travel regular route to Royal Little Dr., turn right on Royal Little Dr., turn left on

Felix Mirando Way, right on Silver Spring St. and then resume regular route. 

Route 78 (Beverage Hill):

Inbound trips leaving Wampanoag Mall will stay on Waterman Ave., turn left onto  John St., left onto Taunton Ave., and then right onto Broadway to I-19.

Outbound trips will travel regular route to Memorial Blvd., turn right onto Memorial Blvd., left onto S. Water St. to I-95, and then take the Taunton Ave. Exit. 

Route 80

Outbound trips will travel regular route to Walcott St., turn left onto North Bend, right onto Armistice Blvd. and then resume regular route. Reverse on Inbound. 

Route 87 (Fairmount/Walnut Hill):

Westbound trips will travel regular route toward Fairmont  (stay on 9th layoff there) then turn left on Mason to regular route. 

Eastbound trips will travel regular route.

Route 92 (RI College/Federal Hill/East Side):

All service suspended.

Routes 1, 76, 78 and the R-Line will be on detour in the Pawtucket area from 9 AM to 1 PM on Saturday, March 7, 2026, to accommodate the Pawtucket St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Roosevelt Avenue will be closed during this time.

Route 1 (Eddy/Hope/Benefit):

Northbound: Trips will travel regular route to George Street, turn left on Cedar Street, and then right on Pine Street to the Pawtucket-Central Falls Transit Center. Trips continuing to Market Basket will turn left onto Goff Avenue, right onto Dexter Street through to Park Place West to George Street, left onto I-95 North to the Broadway Exit, turn right at the Broadway Exit and then resume regular route.

Southbound: Trips leaving Market Basket will travel regular route to Broadway and Exchange Street, turn left onto I-95 South, take the Cedar Street Exit, and then turn right on Pine Street to the Pawtucket-Central Falls Transit Center. Trips will then leave the Pawtucket-Central Falls Transit Center, turn left on Goff Avenue, turn right on Dexter Street and then resume regular route.

Route 76 (Central Avenue):

Inbound trips will travel regular route to George Bennett Highway, turn right on Columbus Avenue, left on Pond Street, right on Prospect Street, left on Division Street, right on George Street, left on Cedar Street and then right on Pine Street to the Pawtucket-Central Falls Transit Center.

Outbound trips will leave the Pawtucket-Central Falls Transit Center, turn left on Goff Avenue, turn right on Dexter Street to Park Place, left on Division Street, right on School Street, left on Pond Street, right on Columbus Avenue, left on George Bennett Highway to Cottage Street, and then resume regular route.

Route 78 (Beverage Hill):

Inbound trips will leave the Pawtucket-Central Falls Transit Center, turn left on Goff Avenue, right on Dexter Street through to Park Place, turn left on Division Street and then right on School Street to resume regular route.

Outbound trips will travel regular route to Prospect and Division Streets, turn left on Division Street, right on George Street, left on Cedar Street, and then right on Pine Street to the Pawtucket-Central Falls Transit Center.

R-Line (Broad/North Main):

Inbound trips will leave the Pawtucket-Central Falls Transit Center via Pine Street, turn right on Main Street, and then resume regular route.

Outbound trips will travel regular route to the Pawtucket-Central Falls Transit Center and terminate there. There will be no service to Slater Mill.
