We invite you to participate in the meeting to discuss the proposed goal, as well as the availability of potential DBEs for RIPTA projects, the effects of discrimination on opportunities for DBEs, and RIPTA's efforts to increase DBE participation.

RIPTA’S Winter Service Changes To Take Effect Saturday, January 16, 2021

🗓️ January 12, 2021 - The Quonset Express Will Now Service Compass Circle in the Western Portion of the North Kingstown Business Park The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will implement winter service changes effective Saturday, January 16, 2021. RIPTA makes regular service adjustments three times a year in response to seasonal changes and/or passenger use.

RIPTA Detouring Eight Routes Due to Winter Weather Conditions

🗓️ January 26, 2021 - Passengers Urged to Monitor Service Alerts The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) is advising passengers to monitor service alerts on its website and social media accounts as evening snow is causing slippery conditions and systemwide delays. Currently eight routes are on detour and riders can expect some delays on all routes due to weather conditions.

Routes 9X, 13, 14, 21, 27, 29, 35, 51, 55, 60, 62, 63, 64, 66, 67, and 87 are currently on detour.
