🗓️ March 11, 2022 - Mandate Has Been Extended through April 18, 2022 The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) is advising passengers that the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has extended the federal mandate requiring face masks to be worn when using public transportation – including trains and buses. 🗓️ March 2, 2022 - Detours will occur between 9:00 am and 6:00 pm The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will detour Routes 50, 56, 57 in Providence on Saturday, March 19, 2022. Routes 56 and 57 will be on detour from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm to accommodate the St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

🗓️ March 1, 2022 - Buses will not stop at the Pawtucket Transit Center between 9am and 2pm on March 5, 2022 The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will detour seven Pawtucket-based bus routes traveling on Saturday, March 5, 2022 from 9am to 2pm to accommodate the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in Pawtucket.
