The Photo ID Office in Kennedy Plaza is open to the public Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 8am-4pm (closed 12pm-1pm).

The Photo ID Office at RIPTA Headquarters (705 Elmwood Avenue, Providence) is permanently closed.

Photo ID Information Line: For assistance with online or mail-in applications, please call 401-784-9500 ext. 2012, Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm.

RIPTA Customer Service Kiosk (Newport Transportation Center):

8am -12pm and 1pm – 4pm (May 26 – December 31, 2024).

On Monday, January 23, 2023, RIPTA’s Pawtucket Transit Center moved from Roosevelt Avenue to Pine Street and Goff Avenue. 

Routes 1, 71, 72, 73, 75, 76, 78, 80 and the R-Line serve the new Pawtucket-Central Falls Transit Center where you can connect with MBTA Commuter Rail service to Boston and Providence. Route 78 and the R-Line continue to serve Roosevelt Avenue.
