RIPTA Recognized Nationally for Excellence in Financial Reporting and Budget Presentation

  December 10, 2025 Providence, Rhode Island - The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) has once again received the Government Finance Officers Association’s (GFOA) Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for its FY 2024 Annual Comprehensive Financial Report, and the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for its FY 2025-2030 Annual Financial Plan.

RIPTA’S Winter Service Changes To Take Effect Saturday, January 16, 2021

🗓️ January 12, 2021 - The Quonset Express Will Now Service Compass Circle in the Western Portion of the North Kingstown Business Park The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will implement winter service changes effective Saturday, January 16, 2021.
