Viajes entrantes Viajará por la ruta regular hasta la intersección de las calles Angell y Thayer, continuará por Angell Street hasta Steeple Street y luego reanudará la ruta regular. Los pasajeros utilizarán la parada de autobús en Angell Street con Hope Street.

Routes 1, 33, 34, 35, 60, and 78 will be detoured on Saturday, May 25 from 9:30am to 8pm and on Sunday, May 26, 2024, from 6am to 6pm to accommodate Brown University’s Commencement.  The East Side Tunnel, Thayer, Brook, Hope and Waterman Streets will all be closed during this time.

The following detours are in effect on Saturday, May 25 from 9:30am to 8pm and again on Sunday, May 26, 2024, from 6am to 6pm:

Ruta 1 (Eddy/Esperanza/Beneficio)

Ruta 33 (Riverside) y Ruta 34 (Providence del Este / Plaza Seekonk)

RIPTA will detour Route 4 (Warwick Neck) beginning Saturday, May 25 through Monday, May 27, 2024, to accommodate the Gaspee Days Celebration. The detour will be in effect from the first trip of the day on Saturday, May 25 until the last trip of the day on Monday, May 27. 

Route 4 (Warwick Neck) will detour as follows:

Inbound trips will travel the regular route to Warwick Avenue, turn right onto Post Road, left onto Narraganset Parkway through to Broad Street and then resume regular route.

Outbound trips will travel regular route to the intersection of Broad Street and Post Road, turn right onto Post Road, left onto Warwick Avenue, and then resume regular route.

Routes 14 and 16 will be detoured on Monday, May 27, 2024, from 10am to 12pm to accommodate the East Greenwich Memorial Day Parade.

ruta 14 – Outbound trips will travel regular route to the intersection of Main and Division Streets, right on Division St., left on Kenyon St., left on Cedar St., right onto Post Rd. and then resume regular route. Reverse on Inbound.

ruta 16 – Outbound trips will travel regular route to the intersection of Division and Kenyon Streets, turn right onto Kenyon St., left onto Cedar St., right onto Post Rd. and then resume regular route. Reverse on Inbound.

RIPTA will detour Routes 60, 63 and 67 on Sunday, May 5, 2024, from 10:00am to 2:00pm to accommodate the annual Aquidneck Island Police Parade. 

Ruta 60 (Newport / Providence):

Inbound Trips into the Newport Transportation Center via. West Main Road between 10 am and 2 pm will travel the regular route on West Main Road, take a right onto Coddington Highway through to Connell Highway, travel around the rotary, take a right onto the Bridge Access ramp, bear left onto Connell Highway, travel through to Farewell Street, and then take a right onto Gladys Carr Bolhouse Road into the Newport Transportation Center.

Inbound Trips into the Newport Transportation Center via. East Main Road between 10 am y 2pm will travel the regular route on East Main Road, take a right onto West Main Road, left onto Coddington Highway through to Connell Highway, travel around the rotary, take a right onto the Bridge Access ramp, bear left onto Connell Highway, travel through to Farewell Street, and then turn right onto Gladys Carr Bolhouse Road into the Newport Transportation Center.

Outbound trips leaving the Newport Transportation Center for West Main Road will right onto the Gladys Carr Bolhouse Road, left onto America’s Cup Avenue, left onto Farewell Street through to Connell Highway, right onto Admiral Kalbfus Road to the rotary, right onto Connell Highway, travel through to Coddington Highway, left onto West Main Road, and then resume regular route.

Outbound trips leaving the Newport Transportation Center for East Main Road will right onto the Gladys Carr Bolhouse Road, left onto America’s Cup Avenue, left onto Farewell through to Connell Highway, right onto Admiral Kalbfus Road to the rotary, right onto Connell Highway, travel through to Coddington Highway, right onto West Main Road, left onto East Main Road, and then resume regular route.

Ruta 63 (Broadway / Centro comercial):

Trips into the Newport Transportation Center between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm will travel from Stop and Shop, turn right onto West Main Road, right onto Coddington Highway, travel through to Connell Highway, circle rotary, right onto Admiral Kalbfus Road, left onto Girard Avenue, right onto Maple Street, right onto Hillside Avenue, right onto Admiral Kalbfus Road, left onto the Newport Bridge access ramp, slight left onto Connell Highway through to Farewell Street and then turn into the Newport Transportation Center.

Viajes que salen del Centro de Transporte de Newport entre 9: 00 am y 3: 00 pm will travel   right, right Gladys Carr Bolhouse Road, left onto America’s Cup Avenue, left onto Farewell Street through to Connell Highway, right into the Towne Center, right onto Coddington Highway, left onto West Main Road to Stop and Shop. Trips will not be able to service East Main Road.

Ruta 67 (Bellevue / Mansiones / Universidad Salve Regina):

Trips into the Newport Transportation Center between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm will travel the regular route to Bellevue Avenue and Memorial Boulevard, turn left onto Memorial Boulevard, left onto Gladys Carr Bolhouse Road and then turn into the Newport Transportation Center.

Viajes que salen del Newport Gateway Center entre las 9:00 a.m. y la 3:00 p.m. to Salve Regina University, will travel the regular route to America’s Cup Avenue, then continue on America’s Cup Avenue to Memorial Boulevard, turn right onto Bellevue Avenue, and then resume their regular route.
