RIPTA TO ADJUST LATE NIGHT SERVICE SCHEDULE DUE TO COLLEGE WINTER BREAK

The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will adjust service on Routes 50 (Douglas/Bryant University), 55 (Admiral/Prov College) and 60 (Providence/Newport) due to class scheduling and winter breaks at local colleges and universities. RIPTA will reinstate the late night service on January 25, 2017.

RIPTA will suspend service the following trips beginning Thursday, December 22,  2016:

Route 50 (Douglas/Bryant University):

The following Outbound trips have been cancelled on Friday only:

10:50pm – 11:30pm – 12:10am – 12:50am

The following Inbound trips have been cancelled on Friday only:

10:53pm – 11:33pm – 12:13am

Route 55 (Admiral/Prov College):

The following Outbound trips have been cancelled on Thursday and Friday only:

12:07am – 1:07am

The following Inbound trips have been cancelled on Thursday and Friday only:      12:37am

Route 60 (Providence/Newport):

The following Outbound trips have been cancelled on Thursday and Friday only:

12:45am – 1:15am
