RIPTA TO DETOUR ROUTE 27 (BROADWAY/MANTON) AND ROUTE 28 (BROADWAY/HARTFORD) TO ACCOMMODATE CYCLOVIA PROVIDENCE ON SUNDAY, JULY 27, 2014

The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will detour the Route 27 (Broadway/Manton) and Route 28(Broadway/Hartford) on Sunday, July 27, 2014 in order to accommodate Cyclovía Providence. The detour will be in effect from 11:00am until 5:00pm.

Cyclovía Providence is a car-free event that opens Providence streets to people so that they can walk, skate, run, bicycle, exercise, and socialize. The following routes will be on detour on Sunday, July 27, 2014:

Route 27 (Broadway/Manton)

Route 28 (Broadway/Hartford)

Outbound trips will travel the regular route to the intersection of Broadway and Service Road, left onto Service Road, right onto Westminster Street, right onto Barton Street, left onto Broadway, and then resume regular route.

Inbound trips will travel the regular route to the intersection of Broadway and Barton Street, right onto Barton Street, left onto Westminster Street, left onto Franklin Street, right onto Broadway, and then resume regular route.
