The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will detour Route 92 every Friday and Saturday from 3:30pm to 1am to accommodate outdoor dining on Federal Hill.  The detour will begin Friday, May 14, 2021 and last through October of this year.  Atwells Avenue will be closed from Bradford Street to Knight Street.

The following detour will be in effect every Friday and Saturday from 3:30pm through 1am beginning Friday, May 14, 2021:

Route 92 (RI College/Federal Hill/East Side):

Westbound trips will travel the regular route to the Bus Stop D, then turn right onto Dorrance St., left onto Sabin St. through to Broadway, right onto Valley St., right onto Atwells Ave. and then resume regular route.

Eastbound trips will travel the regular route to Atwells Ave. and Valley St., right onto Valley St., left onto Broadway, right onto Empire St., left onto Fountain St., right onto Dorrance St., left onto Washington St. to Bus Stop J and then resume regular route.
