RIPTA TO DETOUR ROUTE 76 (CENTRAL AVENUE) IN PAWTUCKET ON SATURDAY, MAY 20, 2017 TO ACCOMMODATE VETERANS HOME RUN 5K WALK ‘N RUN

The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will detour Route 76 (Central Avenue) on Saturday, May 20, 2017 from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm to accommodate the Veterans Home Run 5K in Pawtucket.  Passengers should expect delays on all routes traveling through this area.  For more information on this 5K, please visit www.PawSox.com.

The route will detour as follows:

Route 76 (Central Avenue):

Inbound trips will travel the regular route to Stop & Shop Supermarket through to George Bennett Highway, left onto Central Street, right onto Newport Avenue, right onto Columbus Street, left onto Pond Street, right onto Prospect Street, left onto Division Street, right onto Pleasant Street to the East Avenue Exit through to High Street, right onto Exchange Street, left onto Roosevelt Avenue and then resume regular route.

Outbound trips will travel the regular route to Roosevelt Avenue to Roosevelt Exit, right onto Jenks Street, left onto Pleasant Street, left onto Division Street, right onto Water Street through to School Street, left onto Pond Street, right onto Columbus Street, left onto Newport Avenue, left onto Central Street to Stop & Shop Supermarket and then resume regular route.
