DUE TO CONSTRUCTION AT CCRI WARWICK CAMPUS, RIPTA TO DETOUR ROUTE 21 (RESERVOIR/GARDEN CITY) ROUTE 29 (KENT COUNTY) AND ROUTE 66 (URI/GALILEE)

Due to the construction at the Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI) Warwick Campus, the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will detour Routes 21 (Reservoir/Garden City), 29 (Kent County) and 66 (URI/Galilee). RIPTA will detour inbound and outbound trips on Thursday, August 3, 2017 starting at 5am until 4pm that day.  RIPTA Routes 21, 29 and 66 will not serve CCRI Warwick during this time. Regular service will resume at 4pm on Thursday, August 3, 2017.

The routes will detour as follows:

Route 21 (Reservoir/Garden City):

Inbound trips will not service CCRI.

Outbound trips will travel the regular route to Rhode Island Mall and terminate there. Trips will not service CCRI.

Route 29 (Kent County):

Westbound trips will travel the regular route to Tollgate Road, continue on Tollgate Road, turn right onto Bald Hill Road, turn right onto Rte. 113, turn left at the Rhode Island Mall and then resume regular route.

Eastbound trips will travel the regular route to the Rhode Island Mall, exit to Rte. 113, turn right onto Rte. 113, left onto Bald Hill Road, left onto Tollgate Road, and then resume regular route.

Route 66 (URI/Galilee):

Inbound trips will travel the regular route to Rte. 113, right onto Bald Hill Road, and then right at the Rhode Island Mall to the RIPTA bus shelter. Trips will then turn right onto Service Road, left onto Rte. 113 and then resume regular route.

Outbound trips will travel the regular route to Rte. 113, right onto Bald Hill Road, and then right at the Rhode Island Mall to the RIPTA bus shelter. Trips will then turn right onto Service Road, left onto Rte. 113 and then resume regular route.
