The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will detour Route 35 (Rumford/Newport Ave) beginning Monday, March 30, 2020 through Wednesday, April 1, 2020 to accommodate construction on Roger Williams Avenue in Rumford.  The detour will be in effect from 6:30AM to 7:30PM.

The following detour is in effect Monday, March 30 – Wednesday, April 1, 2020:

Route 35 (Rumford/Newport Ave.):

Outbound trips will travel regular route to N. Broadway and Wilson Avenue, continue onto N. Broadway, turn left onto Pawtucket Avenue and then resume regular route.

Inbound trips will travel the regular route to Pawtucket Avenue, turn right onto Pawtucket Avenue, continue onto N. Broadway, turn left onto Roger Williams Avenue and then resume regular route.
