RIPTA AND SENATOR JUAN M. PICHARDO TO HOLD COMMUNITY MEETING ON PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS TO ELMWOOD AVENUE’S BUS STOP LAYOUT

RIPTA and Senator Juan M. Pichardo (District 2) will hold a community meeting to present suggested improvements to bus stop service along Elmwood Avenue. The Route 20/Elmwood Avenue Project is part of RIPTA’s Key Bus Route Improvement Program. These proposed improvements are scheduled to be completed by October 2013. The meeting is scheduled for 6pm on Monday, February 27, 2012 in the RIPTA Conference Room, located at 269 Melrose Street in Providence. information kiosk located outside of the Bank of America Skating Center? Brought to you by RIPTA, this kiosk was made possible by a Transit Enhancement Fund. There, you can find information about RIPTA as well as a panel where you can post your own information!

100 COOKIE MOMENTS

The Girl Scouts Cookie Moments Contest is going on now! The Girl Scouts of Rhode Island, Inc. is sponsoring a photo contest in celebration of the 100th anniversary of Girl Scouts. Show the Girl Scouts of RI a photo of your favorite ‘cookie moment’ for the chance to win prizes! This contest is hosted on their Facebook page.
