RIPTA HOSTS 4TH ANNUAL STUFF A BUS FOOD DRIVE TO BENEFIT THE RI COMMUNITY FOOD BANK

The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) is partnering with Whole Foods, Shore’s Market, and i Heart Radio for the 4Th Annual Stuff A Bus Food Drive to benefit the Rhode Island Community Food Bank.  The public is invited to help Stuff A Bus by donating nonperishable food items such as canned goods and boxed cereal. RIPTA will be collecting food at the following Whole Foods and Shore’s Market locations throughout the State. The site locations, collection dates, and times are:

Saturday, November 21 • 10AM-2PM

Whole Foods University Heights

601 N. Main Street, Providence

Saturday, November 21 • 10PM-12PM 
Shore’s Market

435 Atwood Avenue, Cranston

Whole Foods Garden City Center

151 Sockanosset Crossing Road, Cranston

At last year’s Stuff A Bus Food Drive, RIPTA collected almost 900 pounds of food.
