RIPTA RESUMES ROUTE 21 AND ROUTE 29 SERVICE TO RHODE ISLAND MALL BUS STOP

The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will resume Route 21 (Reservoir/Garden City) and Route 29 (Kent County) service to the bus stop across from Sears at the Rhode Island Mall effective immediately. The bus stop was temporarily relocated in late March to accommodate construction plans.

RIPTA, the State’s Mobility Manager, operates over 3,000 daily bus trips on over 50 bus routes throughout the state. Last year, we provided over 20 million rides. RIPTA also offers passenger van “Flex” services in areas not served by fixed-route bus service.
