RIPTA TO ADJUST UNIVERSITY OF RHODE ISLAND FLEX SERVICE DUE TO WINTER BREAK BEGINNING WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 14, 2016

The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will adjust service on Route 210 Kingston Flex , URI Ram Line, and on the URI Hill Climber due to class scheduling and winter break at the University of Rhode Island (URI). 

Beginning Wednesday, December 14, 2016, RIPTA will run abbreviated service on the URI Ram Line and URI Hill Climber.  The URI Ram Line will run from 7:15am through 6:41pm on Wednesday, December 14TH through Wednesday, December 21ST, approximately every 12 to 18 minutes.  The URI Hill Climber will run from 7:15am through 4:50pm on Wednesday, December 14TH through Wednesday, December 21ST, approximately every 12-15 minutes.  Service will end at 4pm on Thursday, December 22, 2016. RIPTA will suspend service on both the URI Ram Line and the URI Hill Climber beginning Friday, December 23, 2016

RIPTA will run abbreviated service on Route 210 Kingston Flex in conjunction with URI’s Winter Break, from Saturday, December 24, 2016, through Saturday, January 21, 2017. Route 210 Kingston Flex will operate during the week from 8:00am – 5:00pm and on weekends from 10:00am – 4:35pm.

Regular service on the Route 210 Kingston Flex , Route 211 Ram Line and the Hill Climber will resume on Monday, January 23, 2017.  

Christmas Day and New Year’s Day

Route 210 Kingston Flex , URI Ram Line and the Hill Climber  will not operate on Sunday, December 25, 2016, in observance of Christmas Day and Sunday, January 1, 2017 in observance of New Year’s Day.  The Flex Service reservation line (1-877-906-FLEX) will not be staffed on either holiday.
