The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will adjust service on the Route 210 Kingston Flex ,  the Route 211 Blue Line, and the URI Hill Climber due to  winter break at the University of Rhode Island (URI)and decreased ridership during that time.

RIPTA will suspend service on the URI Hill Climber beginning Friday, December 11, 2015.  Beginning Tuesday, December 15, 2015, RIPTA will run abbreviated service on the Route 211 Blue Line and then suspend service on this line beginning Wednesday, December 23, 2015. 

In addition, RIPTA will run abbreviated service on Route 210 Kingston Flex from Saturday, December 26, 2015, through Tuesday, January 25, 2016. The abbreviated schedule is from 8:00am – 5:00pm on weekdays from 10:00am – 4:35pm on weekends.

Regular service on  all three routes will resume on Tuesday, January 26, 2016. 

Christmas Day and New Year’s Day

The Route 210 Kingston Flex , Route 211 Blue Line and the Hill Climber  will not operate on Friday, December 25, 2015, in observance of Christmas Day and Friday, January 1, 2016 in observance of New Year’s Day.  The Flex Service reservation line (1-877-906-FLEX) will not be staffed on either holiday.
