The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will detour Route 1 (Eddy/Gaspee) beginning Saturday, May 25^th through Monday, May 27^th to accommodate the Gaspee Days Celebration.   The detour will be in effect from the first trip of the day on Saturday, May 25^th until the last trip of the day on Monday, May 27^th. 

Route 1 (Eddy/Gaspee) will detour as follows:

Outbound:  Trips leaving Providence will travel regular route to Narragansett Parkway and Post Road, take a right onto Post Road, left onto Warwick Avenue, right onto Pilgrim Parkway, and then a right at the Warwick Senior Services Center.

Inbound:  Trips traveling into Providence will leave via a left onto Warwick Avenue, take a right onto Post Road, left onto Narragansett Parkway, and then resume regular route.
