RIPTA To Detour Route 1 (Eddy/Hope/Benefit) To Accommodate Hope Street Holiday Stroll On Sunday, December 2, 2018

The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will detour Route 1 (Eddy/Hope/Benefit) to accommodate the Hope Street Holiday Stroll. The detour will be in effect beginning at 10am on Sunday, December 2, 2018 until 6pm that day.

The following route detour will be in effect on December 2, 2018:

Route 1 (Eddy/Hope/Benefit): Southbound trips will travel the regular route to the intersection of Hope Street and Blackstone Boulevard, left onto Blackstone Boulevard, right onto Elmgrove Avenue, right onto Rochambeau Avenue, left onto Hope Street and then resume regular route.

Northbound trips will travel the regular route to the intersection of Hope Street and Rochambeau Avenue, right onto Rochambeau Avenue, left onto Elmgrove Avenue, right onto Blackstone Boulevard, left u-turn onto Blackstone Boulevard, right onto Hope Street and then resume regular route.
