RIPTA TO DETOUR ROUTE 11 (BROAD ST) TO ACCOMMODATE CYCLOVÍA PROVIDENCE ON SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 2012

The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will detour Route 11 (Broad St.) on Sunday, September 9, 2012 in order to accommodate Cyclovía Providence. The detours will be in effect from 10:00am until 2:00pm. 

Cyclovía Providence is a car-free event that opens Broad Street to people so that they can walk, skate, run, bicycle, exercise, and socialize.  This is a free event open to the public and fun for people of all ages.  For more information on this event, please visit http://www.gcpvd.org/2012/08/29/cyclova-providence-september-9th-on-broad-street/

The detour is as follows:

ROUTE #11 (BROAD ST.):

Inbound tripswill travel the regular route to Broad and Prairie Streets, right onto Prairie Street, left onto Potters Street, right onto Broad Street and then resume regular route.

Outbound trips will travel the regular route to the intersection of Broad and Potters Streets, left onto Potters Street, right onto Prairie Street through to Broad Street and then resume regular route.
