RIPTA to Detour Route 17 (Dyer/Pocasset) and Route 30 (Arlington/Oaklawn) to Accommodate St. Mary’s Feast On Wednesday, July 17 – Sunday, July 21, 2019

The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will detour Route 17 (Dyer/Pocasset) and Route 30 (Arlington/Oaklawn) on Wednesday, July 17 through Sunday, July 21, 2019 in order to accommodate St. Mary’s Feast.   On Wednesday, July 17 through Friday, July 19, the detours will be in effect from 6pm until 1am.  On Saturday, July 20 and Sunday, July 21, the detours will be in effect from 12pm to 1am.

The detours are as follows:

ROUTE 17 (DYER/POCASSET):

Inbound trips will travel the regular route to Atwood Avenue, turn left onto Atwood Avenue, right onto Cranston Street and then resume regular route.

Outbound trips will travel the regular route to Park Avenue and Cranston Street, left onto Cranston Street to the rotary, right onto Atwood Avenue and then resume regular route to Stop & Shop.

ROUTE 30 (ARLINGTON/OAKLAWN):

Inbound tripswill travel the regular route to the Cranston Street, turn right onto Cranston Street, left onto Park Avenue, right onto Dyer Street and then resume regular route.

Outbound trips will travel the regular route to the intersection of Cranston and Dyer Streets, left onto Dyer Street, right onto Park Avenue, left onto Cranston Street and then resume regular route.
