RIPTA to Detour Route 19 (Plainfield/Westminster) in Johnston to Accommodate Annual Kids’ Fun Day Celebration on Saturday, June 21, 2014

The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will detour Route 19 (Plainfield/Westminster) in Johnston on Saturday, June 21, 2014 in order to accommodate the Annual Kid’s Fun Day Celebration.  The detour will be in effect from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Plainfield Street between Laurel Hill Avenue and Merino Street will be closed during this time.

The route will detour as follows:

Outbound:  Trips will travel the regular route to Plainfield Street and Laurel Hill, take a right onto Laurel Hill, left onto Hartford Avenue, left onto Killingly Street, right onto Duxbury Street through to Plainfield Street, and then resume the regular route. 

Inbound: Trips will travel the regular route to Plainfield Street through to Duxbury Street, left onto Killingly Street, right onto Hartford Avenue, right onto Laurel Hill, left onto Plainfield Street, and then resume the regular route.
