The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will detour Route 3 (Warwick Ave.) on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 to accommodate the fireworks at Oakland Beach.   The detour will be in effect from 5pm on Tuesday, July 5, 2016 until Midnight.  

Route 3 (Warwick Ave.) will detour as follows:

Inbound trips will leave Suburban Parkway via a right onto Oakland Beach

Avenue and then resume regular route.

Outbound trips will travel the regular route to the intersection of Oakland Beach

Ottawa Avenues, turn left onto Ottawa Avenue, right onto Pequot Avenue, and

then right onto Suburban Parkway. Passengers will be picked up and dropped off

at the corner of Suburban Parkway and Oakland Beach Avenue.
