The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will detour Route 6 (Prairie/R.W. Zoo) and Route 11 (Broad St.) on Sunday, August 11, 2013 in order to accommodate the Dominican Parade. The Route 6 detour will be in effect from 10:00am until 1:30pm. The Route 11 detour will be in effect from 10:00am until 12:00pm.

The detours are as follows:

ROUTE #6 (PRAIRIE/R.W. Zoo):

Inbound tripswill not travel though Roger Williams Park.

Outbound trips will travel end at Prairie Avenue and Public Street.

ROUTE #11 (BROAD ST.):

Inbound tripswill travel the regular route to Broad and Eddy Streets, right onto Eddy Street, left onto Potters Street, right onto Broad Street and then resume regular route.

Outbound trips will travel the regular route to the intersection of Broad and Potters Streets, left onto Potters Street, right onto Eddy Street through to Broad Street and then resume regular route.
