Ripta To Detour Routes 20, 22 And The R-line To Accommodate Roger On The Block On Saturday, September 10, 2016

The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will detour Routes 20 (Elmwood Ave./T.F. Green Airport), 22 (Pontiac Ave.) and the R-Line (Broad/North Main) on Saturday, September 10, 2016 in order to accommodate Roger on the Block.   The detours will be in effect from 10:00am until 7:00pm.   For more information on the Roger Williams University School of Continuing Studies Block Party, visit https://www.facebook.com/events/1627928767518822/

The detours are as follows:

Route 20 (Elmwood Ave./T.F. Green Airport):

Inbound tripswill travel the regular route.

Outbound trips will travel the regular route to the intersection of Washington and Empire Streets, continue on Washington Street, left onto Service Road, right onto Broad Street, and then resume regular route.

Route 22 Pontiac Ave.):

Please refer to the Route 20 (Elmwood Ave./T.F. Green Airport) detour.

R-LINE (Broad/North Main):

NORTH: Inbound tripswill travel the regular route to the intersection of Broad Street and Dave Gavitt Way, left onto Dave Gavitt Way, right onto Broadway, left onto LaSalle Square, left onto Fountain Street and then resume regular route.

SOUTH: Outbound trips will travel the regular route to the intersection of Washington and Empire Streets, continue on Washington Street, left onto Service Road, right onto Broad Street, and then resume regular route.
