Routes 14 and 66 will be detoured on Friday, July 29 from 3:30pm until 9pm to accommodate the Blessing of the Fleet Road Race.

Route 14 Outbound will travel regular route to Boston Neck Rd., turn right onto Narragansett Ave., right onto Kingstown Rd., circle the rotary to Point Judith Rd., and then turn right onto Salt Pond Plaza.

Inbound trips will leave Salt Pond Plaza, turn left onto Point Judith Rd., right onto Kingstown Rd., left onto Narragansett Ave., left onto Boston Neck Rd. and then resume regular route.

Route 66 Outbound will travel regular route to Point Judith Rd., continue on Point Judith Rd., turn right onto Galilee Connector Rd., left onto Galilee Connector Rd., left onto Sand Hill Cove Rd., and then left onto Galilee Connector Rd.

Inbound trips will turn left onto Great Island Rd., left onto Sand Hill Cove Rd., left onto Galilee Connector Rd., right onto Great Island Rd., right onto right onto Galilee Escape Rd., left onto Point Judith Rd. and then resume regular route.

Due to construction, Route 32 is on detour until further notice.  OUTBOUD trips will continue on South Broadway, turn left on Veterans, left on Pawtucket Avenue and then right on Wampanoag Trail to resume regular route.  Reverse detour for INBOUND trips.

Route 92 Westbound will be on detour today through July 31, 2022 due to construction on the Atwells Avenue Bridge. 92 Westbound will travel regular route to Broadway, turn right onto Dean St., left onto Atwells Avenue and then resume regular route.

Providence, Rhode Island, May 11, 2022… The Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) will detour Route 92 every Friday and Saturday from 3:30pm to 1am to accommodate outdoor dining on Federal Hill.  The detour will begin Friday, May 13, 2022 and last through October 1, 2022. 

The following detour will be in effect every Friday and Saturday from 3:30pm through 1am beginning Friday, May 13, 2022:

Route 92 (RI College/Federal Hill/East Side):

Westbound trips will travel the regular route to Atwells Ave. and Dean St., turn left onto Dean St., right onto Broadway, right onto Valley St., left onto Atwells Ave. and then resume regular route.

Eastbound trips will travel the regular route to Atwells Ave. and Valley St., turn right onto Valley St., left onto Broadway, left onto Dean St., right onto Atwells Ave. and then resume regular route.
